90+ Years of Plastering
When Frank Woemmel founded Woemmel Plastering Company in 1933, he launched a St. Louis family tradition that would pay homage to the worldโs most beautiful architecture. Now in our fourth generation, with Connie Woemmel as President, we proudly continue our legacy as St. Louisโs indispensable resource for beautiful architectural detail, provided with the honor and integrity of our family.
Woemmel Plastering employs licensed, skilled applicators to provide Venetian plaster, interior and exterior stucco, exterior insulated finish systems (EIFS) and custom mouldings. We use current technology and training to create historically correct and beautiful results.
Woemmel Plastering also completes interior repair and historical restoration, reviving the magnificence of a home or business by artfully blending new craftsmanship with existing. As the 3rd generation owner of Woemmel Plastering Co, Connie learned how to manage the business from Rich and Dee Woemmel. She furthered her knowledge by completing in the first โWomen in Businessโ program offered in St. Louis. In 2012, she was qualified as a Woman Business Enterprise (WBE) and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) through certifications from the State of Missouri and the City of St. Louis.
Mark is Woemmel Plasteringโs 3rd generation plasterer. He began learning the trade at age 6 from his father, Rich Woemmel. In his teens, he was working side by side with his father perfecting his skills. Once his father was satisfied with Markโs craftsmanship, it was time for his mom (Dee Woemmel) and his dad to turn the family legacy over to Mark and his wife, Connie. Under the guidance of Dee and Rich, they were able to build upon that legacy and continue as the best plastering company in St. Louis. Today, you will find him estimating and overseeing residential projects.
Tony is a veteran of the US Navy, while serving in the Navy he took Silver Medal 2 times in the Armed forces Wrestling Championship, he also was 2X state champion prior to going into the Navy. He has over 17 years of experience in Plastering. Tony has now become our Superintendent and Estimator, occasionally you will find him in the field working when he is needed.

Mark is Woemmel Plasteringโs 3rd generation plasterer. He began learning the trade at age 6 from his father, Rich Woemmel. In his teens, he was working side by side with his father perfecting his skills. Once his father was satisfied with Markโs craftsmanship, it was time for his mom (Dee Woemmel) and his dad to turn the family legacy over to Mark and his wife, Connie. Guy was just out of high school when he picked up a trowel. He trained in the art of plastering by Woemmel Plasteringโs 2nd generation, Rich Woemmel. He carefully developed his skills and they have taken him all over the state and country working on restoring churches and installing new residential exterior systems. He can attribute most of his experience to repairing plaster in 1000s of across Metro St homes . Louis. Over the years, Guy has honed his skills in ornamental and decorative plastering. He is sought after to work in high-end homes to add luxurious touches. His work is truly exceptional.
After Brant graduated high school in 2003, he wanted to learn about the plaster trade. Mark Woemmel took him on even though he was simply looking for summer job. He enjoyed the work so much that summer, he applied and was accepted in the plastererโs apprenticeship program. His work is skillful and quite remarkable.
Lou has carefully developed his skill over the last 30 years. We are so glad to have Lou on our Team. When he is not mastering his art of Plastering he enjoys Fishing, hunting and spending time with his Wife and Family.
